COACHING
Our NCCP and Club Coaches, along with mentors, are busy year round now that QBLBC has full sized greens both outdoors and indoors.
Potential members take a course of lessons before joining the club. The course is thorough and on completion the new bowlers feel very comfortable participating in the open draws, both indoors and outdoors.
Leagues, tournaments and clinics are arranged for our first and second year (Tenderfoot) bowlers. These courses, conducted by coaches, have been very successful in improving the skill level of the newer bowlers.
Clinics are arranged during the year. These are geared to Skips and Thirds or to Leads and Seconds.
For many years, Skills and Drills sessions have been arranged by the coaches and are enjoyed by the members. These events are a challenge but also a lot of fun.
