July 26/27 Interclub Competition Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club and QBLBC 
New Horizons Trophy The New Horizons Trophy Challenge (annual event) was won this year by Qualicum in a tight competition 34 to 30.
After the games Presidents Paul Roughton and Bill Clow Bill Clow with the trophy won by QBLBC August 4 B.C. Day Fun Day / blue and yellow / includes Open Draw  August 28 Wood Gundy Tournament QBLBC versus Parksville LBC The
Wood Gundy Tournament is a one day social event; a game in the morning
followed by
lunch at one club and a game in the afternoon at the other club. At the conclusion of the day Parksville and Qualicum were tied with 8 games each. The tie was broken by ends won with Parksville taking 117 to Qualicum's 107. Congratulations to Parksville!

 September 1 Labour Day Work clothes and fun bowling
We had a wonderful day of fun, socializing and bowling. Lunch included a "special desert" which was enjoyed by all. Two games were played, one in the morning and one after lunch. As can be seen above, we played in both directions at the same time which provided lots of challenges and laughter. September 4 Maggie and Jiggs Colour and more colour
